out this week from artists you listen to.
It'll be waiting at the front of Radio all week, and it doesn't use your free listening hours.
Attunify asked Spotify for too much at once on your account, so Spotify has paused us for a while. That was our mistake, not anything you did.
Until then Attunify can't reach Spotify for you. It comes back by itself at . Spotify's own app isn't affected.
Sorry for the hassle. The Attunify team
A few Spotify settings can override Attunify's own picks:
Attunify works out the genre of every song in your library in the background. On a big library that takes a while after you first sign up, so picks can be a bit broad until it's caught up. Very occasionally the outside music-data services have nothing on an obscure or older song, so a wrong-genre track can slip into a Radio mix (only ever a new one, never your own). If you spot one, let us know via Feedback.
Everything you've excluded is listed in Archive, where you can bring it back.
A fresh mix every Friday of new releases from the artists you actually listen to, minus anything you've already liked. If your artists haven't released much that week, it's topped up with wildcards: new releases from artists similar to your favourites (marked with a little joker card). It sits at the front of Radio (you'll get a pop-up when yours is ready), plays through once and then Top Listened carries on. It never uses your free listening hours.
Your friends' favourites turn up in your Discover, marked "From [name]'s favourites", but only in genres you actually listen to. In Recap you can compare tastes and get suggestions from what they've been playing.
If a friend's score or suggestions look empty, they haven't played much in the period you've picked: switch from week to month.
E means a song's explicit. In Top Listened, an explicit song that also has a clean version gets an F in Attunify's gradient: with Family mode on, that one plays the clean version instead. An E with no F has no clean version, so Family mode greys it out and skips it.
Radio and Discover are always finding new songs, so there an explicit one is simply left out and another pick takes its place.
All in the cog, top right: album art and the position graph on or off, Family mode, which device Attunify plays on, how much free Radio and Discover time you've got left this week, Feedback (type it in and hit Send), this FAQ, the tour and Log out. Manage subscription is in there too: change your card, see receipts or cancel (you keep Premium until the end of what you've paid for). On the free plan, Upgrade is in your profile. The two icons next to the cog are your Recap and the mini player.
Tap your avatar, then Frames. Tap any frame to see how to get it: some are earned by listening or inviting friends, colour frames come with Premium, and the EQ Rings are 99p each and yours for good.
Pick the device in the cog under Playing on. Attunify remembers it and picks it again next time it's around. If that speaker disappears or stops answering, Attunify switches to this browser and offers to try the speaker again.
Google and Nest speakers sometimes keep hold of your Spotify after you've moved on, leaving Attunify silent. If that happens, use Grab it back here, or say "Hey Google, stop" (or restart the speaker) and press play.
They come from a notification, which needs the permission Android asks for the first time you open the app. If that got declined, turn it on in Settings → Apps → Attunify → Notifications and reopen the app. Playback inside the app works either way.
Your photo's awaiting approval — can take up to 24 hours. Your current avatar stays visible until then.
Your last photo wasn't approved. You can try uploading a different one.
Custom images go through a quick manual approval before they show to anyone but you.
You can move and zoom it to fit after picking. A photo at least 400×400px looks sharpest.
Pick which one shows — only earned badges are selectable.
The ring around your avatar — pick any one you own, independent of your badge.

Step 0 of 3
Needs Spotify Premium on your account — Spotify requires it for this kind of connection to work.
Quick check first. Open the Spotify dashboard, log in, and look for a Create app button.
Open Spotify dashboardCan you see Create app?
Click Create app, give it any name/description, and tick the checkbox agreeing to Spotify's terms.
Under Which API/SDKs are you planning to use?, tick both Web API and Web Playback SDK — Attunify needs both.
In your new app's Settings, add this exact Redirect URI:
Then scroll down and click Save — it won't take effect otherwise.
Then copy your app's Client ID and Client Secret (click "View client secret") in below:
🔒 Safe to share
These belong to the app you just made. They're not your Spotify password, and Attunify never sees your password or payment details.
Needs Spotify Premium. Your friend's code is in their avatar menu under Friends → Your code.
Waiting for your friend to add you…
They'll see your request next time they open Attunify. It only takes them a minute. You can close this and come back later. We'll pick up where you left off.
You're in.
Your friend's added you. Log in with Spotify to finish.
No one to ask? Leave your email and we'll let you know the moment Spotify lets new setups through again.
Your Spotify listening, reordered by how much you actually like it.
Find it on your Spotify dashboard — open your app, and it's right at the top of Basic Information. Usually the Client ID is all you need; if Attunify doesn't have that app saved, it'll ask for the Client Secret too.
